No matter who you are–a bleeding disorder patient, family member, or caregiver–we know women in the bleeding community face unique challenges. That’s why we created Women Connected. Women Connected gives women (ages 14 and up) the chance to share their struggles, find support, and, of course, have some fun along the way.

In April, join CCBDF and NBDF as we learn more about how parents and caregivers, who are responsible for day-to-day care of someone with a blood or bleeding disorder, may face burnout at some point in their lives. This workshop will introduce the concepts of prioritizing and practicing self-care, so that you are ready and able to take care of others. We will explore various self-care options and motivate you with practical ideas to make self-care a priority.

No importa quién sea usted (una paciente con un trastorno hemorrágico, un familiar o un cuidador), sabemos que las mujeres de la comunidad sangrienta enfrentan desafíos únicos. Por eso creamos Mujeres Conectadas. Women Connected brinda a las mujeres (de 14 años en adelante) la oportunidad de compartir sus luchas, encontrar apoyo y, por supuesto, divertirse en el camino.

En abril, únase al CCBDF y al NBDF mientras aprendemos más sobre cómo los padres y cuidadores, que son responsables del cuidado diario de alguien con un trastorno sanguíneo o hemorrágico, pueden enfrentar agotamiento en algún momento de sus vidas. Este taller presentará los conceptos de priorizar y practicar el autocuidado, para que esté listo y sea capaz de cuidar a los demás. Exploraremos varias opciones de cuidado personal y lo motivaremos con ideas prácticas para hacer del cuidado personal una prioridad.
