2026 Emerging Therapies & Advocacy Forum
We’d love to welcome you and your family to a relaxing, fun, and meaningful weekend created just for the Central California bleeding disorders community. This annual gathering brings families together to share meals, learn from experts, explore helpful resources, and build connections with others who truly understand the journey. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been part of the community for years, this weekend offers a chance to learn, recharge, and enjoy time with people who “get it.”
Friday: Welcome Dinner & Family Time
We kick off the weekend with a relaxed World Hemophilia Day dinner on Friday evening, sponsored by Sanofi. Families come together to share a meal, catch up with friends, and meet others who understand life with a bleeding disorder. Your family can then stay overnight in the hotel, turning the evening into a fun, easygoing getaway where kids can play and adults can unwind. (The Foundation will be sponsoring your hotel room.)
Saturday: Education, Resources & Community
Saturday is packed with learning and connection. Enjoy:
- Educational sessions led by knowledgeable speakers
- Information booths from partner organizations
- A friendly space to ask questions and discover new resources
It’s a day designed to support, empower, and bring our community closer together.
Perks for Participating Families
To support families who join us for the weekend, each participating household will receive a gas card. Throughout the event, families will also have the chance to win fun prizes, adding a little extra excitement to the experience.
Who Can Attend
This weekend is designed specifically for members of the inherited bleeding disorders community. Attendees must be part of the bleeding disorders community and current members of the Central California Bleeding Disorders Foundation. This helps us keep the event focused, supportive, and meaningful for the families we serve. If you are not yet a member of the Foundation, we will reach out to you to help you get signed up.
A Weekend That Brings Us Together
More than anything, this weekend is about connection. Families leave feeling informed, supported, and part of a community that truly understands.
