Other Ways To Give

The Central California Bleeding Disorders Foundation is dedicated to our mission to improve the quality of life for those impacted with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders through education, advocacy, and support. We are grateful to our many local organizations and individuals who donate to the cause. We are proud that the funds we raise stay in our local community!

There are many ways that you can join us in our fight.

Help With Our Mission

Become A Volunteer

The Foundation welcomes volunteers at our events who would like to get involved with our organization. You could have fun while working with your friends and family to raise awareness of bleeding disorders and help with our mission of education and support! If you would like to be added to our newsletter so you can hear about upcoming events and read more information about bleeding disorders and education, please fill out the form on the bottom of this page. If you would like to discuss volunteering, you can email us at [email protected] or fill out our Contact Form.

You can get involved as a volunteer by:

Volunteering to work at one of our events or on one of our event committees – There are several different volunteer roles possible. Just join us for the day, or work on an event committee to plan an entire event! It’s possible to work on anything from entertainment to sponsorships, whatever works best for you!

Becoming a focus for one of newsletter stories – Bleeding disorders have affected all of us in our community in one way or another. Would you like to share your personal story in a newsletter for our donors, volunteers, and local community? We’d like to meet you to celebrate your story.

Host An Event Or Fundraiser

While CCBDF hosts numerous fundraising events throughout the year, many community members are interested in learning more about how they can host their own fundraising efforts, especially for increasing their Unite Walk donations. These efforts are the reason that CCBDF exists and allow us to offer assistance and programming that our bleeding disorder community expects and deserves.

Some examples of community-driven fundraisers to benefit CCBDF include: restaurant fundraisers, yard sales, golf tournaments, bake sales, sports tournaments, pancake breakfasts, spaghetti dinners, and more!

No matter what event you want to host, we want to make it a success! Email us at [email protected] if you would like help thinking through the different aspects of your events, understand the resources that CCBDF has available to support you, and ensure that the event is consistent with our mission. Thank you in advance for your support and dedication to CCBDF.
