Scholarship Program

Scholarship applications open February 1 and are due March 31. Announcement and awards are made in April and May. An announcement is made to the community when the scholarship period opens.

Application Guidelines

 

In order to apply for a CCBDF scholarship, you must:

  1. Live in the 27-county region that CCBDF serves
  2. Be enrolled in an accredited college or trade school
  3. Achieve and maintain a 2.0 GPA
  4. Be enrolled as a full-time student (enrolled in 12 credits per semester or the equivalent)
  5. Meet the requirements of the individual scholarship program and the overall program requirements for the program. Those requirements can be found here: 2025 Scholarship Funds Guidelines.

Please note, you will be asked to submit the following documents when you apply. Please have them available when you begin the application process as you will be asked to upload them while applying.

  1. Student Application Cover Letter
  2. Two signed letters of recommendation dated within the last 12 months.
  3. A current transcript showing program enrollment and GPA.
  4. Any other documentation you would like the committee to consider.

Applications are reviewed closely by the committee and are evaluated based on several factors, including financial need, scholastic performance, professionalism, and application completeness. Although the Foundation would love to provide all of our community members with a scholarship, we are limited by our budget and will evaluate each submission thoroughly.
